Pressed Flowers series is an extension of the intimate impression series. The flowers used to contact print the original lumen prints were pressed under heavy weight for a year, result in pressed and dried flowers and leaves.
After prolonged pressing, the flowers and leaves were photographed conventionally, using Polaroid 55 Postive/Negative films. The last two boxes of Polaroid 55 p/n I had in cold storage for over 5 years. The negatives were than scanned and printed on inkjet printer.
The signature image of this series is Pressed 15, a scroll iamge of five Spider Lilies. It was an image of two Polaroid 55 negatives combined together forming a scroll.
